Amazon.com Product Description Cruise around the neighborhood in style with the Razor E125 electric scooter. Boasting an adjustable handlebar that adapts to riders of all sizes, a chain-driven, high-torque motor, and a handy twist-grip throttle, the E125 is the perfect device for pre-teens and teens wanting to zip over to a friend's house or head to the park. Unlike Razor's E300S and E500S scooters--whose motors start from a standing position--the E125 requires a small manual kickoff to 3 miles per hour before starting (the rider presses a trigger to engage the motor). Once your child is on the move, however, the electric motor ramps up to 10 miles per hour--fast enough to have fun, but not fast enough to be a menace on the street or sidewalk. And thanks to the long-life rechargeable battery, which takes about eight hours to fully charge, riders can cruise for up to 40 minutes at a stretch. Other details include a folding handlebar mechanism for easy storage and transport, an 8-inch pneumatic front tire and 4.9-inch polyurethane rear wheel, and a hand-operated front brake. The E125 is recommended for ages 8 and older and offers a maximum weight capacity of 120 pounds. It also comes with a pair of 12-volt batteries, a charger, and tools and is backed by a 90-day warranty. The buyer and rider of the E125 scooter are responsible for knowing and obeying all local, state, and federal regulations regarding the riding and use of scooters.

A great product -- recommended December 26, 2007 Middle aged video game guy (NY) 36 out of 37 found this review helpful
For starters, ignore the comments that rate this item poorly; they didn't like the color! I purchased the Razor e125 for my nine year old son. It assembles easily in a few minutes. He loves it and it is easy to use. It moves him along at a good speed, but not too fast. The motor has plenty of torque and it holds a good charge, lasting about 40 minutes or so. The Amazon price is a bargain, I could not find it anywhere else for less. I recomend this for anyone with "tweens."
a lot of fun! January 2, 2009 Phillip Fry (Pennsylvania) 22 out of 22 found this review helpful
This little scooter is a lot of fun! I just gave it to my nephew for Christmas and he loved it! The difference between the E100 and E125 is that the E100 is belt driven motor and the 125 is chain driven. I'd recommend the 125 for durability and performance. Just don't test drive either of them in the house!!!
Well worth it... December 16, 2008 zigzag (Indy) 9 out of 9 found this review helpful
We got this on sale for our son for Christmas. It seems well built, I took it out of the box and all that needed to be assembled was the handlebars(which just slid on and locked in place). I charged it and took it for a quick test drive, I was really impressed. It was very powerful and carried me thru the grass, to the street and back with ease and I weigh 200lbs. We ordered it on a Tuesday and got it on a Friday w/ free shipping, can't beat it...
Favorite Christmas Gift January 12, 2009 Wendy L. Thompson (Austin, TX) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
What can I say? This was my 11 year old son's favorite Christmas gift. Works wonderfully well and holds a charge for a long time. I have absolutely nothing negative to say about this item.
Perfect gift for a 10 Year old December 30, 2008 Faithful 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
This was a Christmas gift for my 10 year old grand daughter, other than her Wii game, she told me this was her best gift this year. She rides it every day until the battery runs down.
