| Customer Reviews: Excellent buy. April 6, 2009 Lashelle B. Sutton 1 out of 3 found this review helpful
This scooter is so cute. It is like an adult scooter but made for non street use. It is fast(over 20mph), has a headlight, turn signals, brake lights, and a key to start. My daughter loves it. It is the best gift ever. I had several neighbors wanting one for their kids.Have not seen another scooter in this price range or a little higher that compares.
Worth it May 10, 2009 L. Sandoval (Northern Virginia) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
I boughtX-Treme Scooters | X-360 - 350 Watt Electric Scooter - Pink
My son bought this scooter and I was skeptical. It really is very cool for the price. It zips right along, has headlight blinkers and horn. It gave him mobility that he didn't have before. Now, I don't allow him to ride it on streets with speed limits over 25mph, but it is more than adequate to get him around our subdivision. I have even ridden in when all the cars are gone. It's fun! Now, remember, it runs on rechargeable batteries. If you follow the directions on keeping it charged, you will get the most life out of them. But after a year or two, you will probably want to replace the batteries with new ones. Not a problem. Replace, ment parts are readily available. Matter of fact, I recently ran over the charger with my car and now will by a new one for about $15 from ebay.... It's body is plastic, so it is not for those who are hard on things and should only buy things made of metal. It should NOT be stored outside. Because the wheels are small, it can feel a little 'wiggly' especially at higher speeds--and the less you weigh, the faster you will go. I would NOT recommend it for small children. My son was 13 when we got him this. We have totally enjoyed the thing. Now we are in the market to buy the BIGGER more POWERFUL one for our daughter who is going to school in an urban area and needs safe cheap transportation in inner city where there is no place to park a car.... :)
Please don't fool yourself. February 24, 2009 Karen S. Baker (Locust Grove, GA) 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
I had to give this one star to write the reveiw but I wouldn't give it any stars!!!! I had purchased a razor scooter for my daughter years ago. Though I would get her something more powerful for Christmas. WRONG!!!!! Her 2 year old razor scooter that is only supposed to go 10 mph. Runs circles around this thing. It holds it's charge but has little to no power. I can walk faster than it and I have to wear a leg brace!!!! Please stick to the razor!...Karen
This is CRAP and doesn't even deserve 1 star September 26, 2009 Booger Lee (LA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
It came partially assembled...and poorly. It had obviously been "refurbished" and put back on the market for some other naive s.o.b.....me. I am so frickin' furious. The pieces don't fit properly...the handlebar stand is wonky. The ignitition couldn't stay on. When I unscrewed the plate around the headlight to try to make a better connection, it looked like it had been put together with masking tape, spit and chewing gum. DON'T Buy this product unless you want to hate yourself.
Very disappointed!! May 9, 2009 L. K. Odom (Mississippi) 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
For the price, this scooter is very cheaply made. Claims to hold up to 300lbs, but I'd have to see it to believe it - doesn't state if the scooter is still in one piece after holding 300 pounds!! Batteries are very weak and only good on flat surfaces. Even the slightest incline challenges this scooter. If you decide to go ahead and purchase, after you assemble it and decide you don't want it, you will pay over $125 in shipping charges to return it. DEFINITELY not worth the headaches involved!!
