The bike travels for up to 35 miles per charge, and goes 20 miles per hour, making it great for gas-free commuting.
While the Lithium Powered Bicycle has all the benefits of motor operation because it is equipped with an optional pedal system, you do not need a driver's license to ride the bike on the street. The electric bicycle does not have to be registered with the DMV, and if you follow the bicycle laws you should be able to ride this bike any place bicycles are allowed to operate (Per Federal Electric Bicycle Law H.R. 727).
